Welcome to Yangming Junior High School, an institution with 80 years of rich history located right in the heart of Changhua City. Our students come from families that highly value education, and for decades, our school has been known for its outstanding performance in academics and character development.
While birth rates have led to smaller class sizes, our reputation continues to draw a diverse group of students, with about 40% now coming from outside our local district. We believe that every student and teacher should feel a strong sense of pride as a "Yangming person." Our goal is to continue fostering a culture of academic rigor and strong moral character, building on our traditions to create an even brighter future for our school.

Because our urban campus has limited green space, our school buildings often feature public art with a "tree" theme. This imagery inspired the design of our curriculum itself.
We think of our curriculum as a yellow trumpet tree. The trunk and branches represent our core and specialized courses. The beautiful, vibrant flowers symbolize the skills and knowledge we cultivate: a thirst for learning, scientific curiosity, a global mindset, strong reading skills, and overall well-being.
As the tree's seeds are carried by the wind, our students will leave Yangming with the core competencies of independent action, effective communication, and social engagement. These are the tools that will empower them to continue their lifelong journey of growth and development.
Each department at Yangming is dedicated to creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Academic Affairs: We focus on developing strong reading and English listening skills through daily activities. We also host academic competitions and encourage students and teachers to participate in science fairs and independent research. Our team ensures that every student gets the support they need to stay on track academically. We also work with teachers to create new international education courses that use English as a tool for cross-cultural exchange.
Student Affairs: We promote a culture of self-discipline, respect, and responsibility. Our department organizes sports events like our popular SH150 program and after-school basketball to encourage physical activity. We also support a wide range of student clubs, ensuring students have opportunities to showcase their talents and explore different interests.
General Affairs: This team manages our school's facilities and resources. We make sure our buildings are well-maintained and that our campus is safe and eco-friendly. We also work closely with the Parent-Teacher Association to strengthen the connection between our school and the community.
Counseling Office: We offer a three-part counseling system that provides support for academic, personal, and career development. Our counselors work with students individually and in groups to help them through challenging times. We also offer vocational education and gifted education programs, giving students a chance to explore potential careers and develop their unique talents.

由於陽明國中位於市區,校園綠地較少,因此校內建築常可見以「樹」為意象的公共藝術。這份意象也啟發了我們對課程的規劃。
我們將學校課程比喻為一棵黃花風鈴木。樹幹與枝葉代表了我們的部定課程與校本彈性課程。而盛開的風鈴木花朵,則象徵著我們所培養的學生的能力:知識學習力、科學生活力、全球競合力、閱讀理解力與健康全能力。
當果莢成熟後,種子會隨風飄散。這也代表著,當你們離開校園時,將帶著「自主行動、溝通互動、社會參與」的核心素養能力,勇敢地邁向未來,繼續你們的終身學習旅程。
陽明國中各處室都致力於創造一個充滿活力且友善的學習環境。
教務處:我們推動晨讀與英語聽力訓練,並舉辦各項學科競賽與科展,鼓勵師生精進教學與學習。我們也提供學習扶助課程,確保每個孩子都不會落後。此外,我們更結合跨領域教師,開發國際教育課程,以英語為溝通工具,開啟學生的國際視野。
學務處:我們注重學生的品德教育與校園生活常規,致力於營造友善的學習環境。除了各項班際體育競賽,我們也推廣 SH150 活動,培養學生自主運動的習慣。此外,我們鼓勵學生多元展能,並透過社團活動與成果展,提供展現才華的舞台。
總務處:這個團隊負責管理學校的資產與環境。我們積極爭取經費,並活化校園閒置空間,打造更優質且具美感的校園。我們也與社區保持良好互動,將校園設施開放給大眾使用,落實資源共享的精神。
輔導室:我們落實三級輔導制度,提供學生學業、生活與生涯規劃的全方位協助。我們舉辦技藝教育課程,並與高職合作,提供學生多元探索的機會。此外,我們也特別規劃資優教育課程,並設有融合式資源班,讓每個學生都能得到最適合的幫助。
On November 10th, 2025, Yangming Junior High School welcomed two guest speakers: Leon from Canada and David from the United States. They shared insights on personal branding, encouraging students to understand their strengths and passions. They also suggested that students build self-awareness by writing down their thoughts daily.
After the talk, students presented a cultural showcase. They performed beautiful harmonica music, introduced Changhua’s local attractions and cuisine, and delivered an impressive martial arts performance that highlighted their focus and discipline.
The event was a great success, bringing students, teachers, and guests together for a meaningful morning. It emphasized the importance of personal branding and showcased the strong spirit and talent of Yangming Junior High School. The day also strengthened global awareness and cultural confidence among students.
2025 年 11 月 10 日,彰化縣陽明國中邀請來自加拿大的 Leon 與來自美國的 David 到校分享「個人品牌」主題。他們鼓勵學生從自我探索開始,認識自己的優勢與熱情,並建議透過每天書寫想法,培養自我覺察。
講座後,學生展開文化展演,包括優美的口琴演奏、彰化景點與美食介紹,以及展現專注力與紀律的武術表演,內容豐富且精彩。
本次活動圓滿成功,學生、老師與來賓熱絡互動,共同度過有意義的上午。不僅讓學生了解個人品牌的重要性,也展現了陽明國中的活力與才能,同時提升學生的國際視野與文化自信。
